WELCOME TO WELLNESS TAKES FORTITUDE
Happy You Are Here
At Wellness Takes Fortitude, we understand that wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all—and it doesn’t happen by accident. It takes insight, strategy, and strength. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or burnout—or leading wellness initiatives in your organization—we provide care that’s clinically sound and deeply personal.
We specialize in psychiatric medication management for individuals and offer consulting, speaking, and wellness design for organizations ready to prioritize mental health in meaningful ways.
This is a space for those ready to move forward—with clarity, support, and purpose.
Wellness takes fortitude. Let’s build it—together.
Move forward with clarity, support, and purpose.

I’m a dual-certified nurse practitioner in psychiatric mental health and adult-gerontology primary care, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and a certified wellness practitioner with more than two decades of nursing experience. I’m also a Mental Health First Aid instructor, Basic Life Support instructor, mindfulness instructor, and trained meditation facilitator, reflecting my commitment to both clinical care and practical wellness education.
My background spans neonatal and pediatric nursing, community health, public health, emergency response, mental health, health education, and whole-person wellness.
That range of experience shaped the way I practice today: health is connected. Mental health, metabolic health, sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, prevention, and daily habits all influence how we feel and function.
I believe care should be practical, personal, and free of shame. We take our cars in for routine maintenance without thinking twice; our bodies and minds deserve at least the same attention. My goal is to help people understand their health, make informed choices, and build sustainable habits that support the life you want to live... before your warning lights come on.
